“ Charlotte has done such a great job with my young mustang. When I got him in February he was green and had little to no training. Just a few short months later she has not only made him a wonderful horse but she has also trained him to jump, stop on a dime and he stands still while I get on and off him. I would absolutely recommend Charlotte. She is caring, calm and very knowledgeable! “

Charlotte has been my trainer for over a year and I just love her. When I started lessons with her, I hadn't jumped my horse over anything higher than 2 feet and only occasionally. Charlotte gave him and myself the confidence to jump oxers, 3 foot jumps and difficult turns and jump series. A couple months ago, Charlotte rode him over cross country jumps for me, something he had never done before (not since I've owned him at least) and then coached me over the cross country jumps, so I have something new to enjoy with him. Charlotte will always school and jump him for me when I have problems or will ride him over high jumps for me, which helps tremendously both with my horse and my own confidence. She has taught me groundwork with him to improve his respect and listening, and she is always enthusiastic, positive and encouraging. Charlotte is also kind, personable and fun, and I always look forward to training with her! “

“ Charlotte is extremely positive and enthusiastic and so much fun to lesson with.  She has a uniquely relaxed, encouraging and positive approach to training.  My horse tends to drag his legs at the trot.  She taught me how to get him to round his back and pick up his hind legs in a fancy forward trot, which I was unable to do before without using draw reins, and gave me drills to strengthen his hind. I'm looking forward to jumping and lots more training with Charlotte and can't say enough good things about her! “

“ I had a 4yo OTTB that I had spent thousands of dollars on in training (elsewhere) during the first 6 months of owning him. He was a difficult personality, barely broke, a tendency to rear, and very disrespectful on ground-- all of which we had no idea about beforehand. We had him fully checked out with the vet multiple times throughout this. After months of no progress, no trainer would work with him, and we were about to send him back to his breeder as a dangerous lost cause.
I reached out to Charlotte, and she offered to take a look at him. Her approach was to figure out the "why" behind his reactions, in addition to demanding his respect while treating him like an uneducated baby. She entirely turned this horse around. He turned into a loving and sweet boy with impeccable ground manners and respect. He did so well, that he was started with jumping; even with his ridiculous fear of homicidal poles. We were even able to achieve a dependability with him that enables my non-horsey husband to plod around on him in the round pen. I cannot say enough positive things about what Charlotte has done. Watching her work with him has also given myself a lot more confidence. I now have the ability to understand how to handle him in a good or bad situation. She is excellent with difficult horses, as well as being a terrific rider for showing off the talented ones. “
